If you live or work in the London Borough of Hillingdon and would like to train to become a Mediator for Hillingdon Community Mediation, we would love to hear from you.

On this page you will find all the information you need to do this and you can download an application form or contact us to discuss more about what is involved.

The Training course is a 6-day course usually run over 2 ‘long weekends’ ie. Fri/Sat/ Sun or Sat/Sun/ Mon.





Please note that we are not holding a Spring 2010 Mediator Training course for new mediators for HCM.

Instead we are running a course for people wanting to train in the HCM Approach to mediation and use it in their own workplace or community.

Autumn 2010 Mediator Training Course

Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October
&
Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October

Our course is held at St Giles' Church Hall, High Road, Ickenham

To have a place on the course you must:


Please note that you will need to live or work in the London Borough of Hillingdon or close enough that you can realistically work for us as a volunteer.


We do not ‘select’ people to do the course. If you fulfil these 3 requirements we will give you a place on one of our courses, subject to there being vacancies, and subject to our own needs to recruit from under represented groups in our local community.

If we are oversubscribed for the course you apply for but you have done the above you will have a place on any future course, subject to the same conditions.
